Whether you're here for the day or staying the night, Makin Time Ranch offers a safe, welcoming place to ride, train, and spend quality time with your horse.

Haul-In Day Use

No long-term commitment needed. Haul in for the day and take advantage of everything Makin Time Ranch has to offer — three arenas, two round pens, a wash bay, patience poles, and a comfortable seating area to rest between rides.

What's Available

3 Arenas — Barrels & Poles arena, Obstacles arena, and a Field arena with obstacles, barrels, and a breeze track.
Round Pens — Multiple round pens available for groundwork, lunging, and warm-up. 60' and 40'
Wash Bay — Fully covered, lighted, and fans for airflow while you rinse and cool down your horse after a great ride. Shampoo, conditioner, brushes provided.
Patience Poles — Safe, secure patience poles to tie your horse while you take a break.
Seating & Lunch Area — A shaded seating area to relax, eat lunch, and enjoy the ranch.
Lessons — Personalized instruction on your horse for all experience levels. From groundwork and obstacles to behavior issues, barrel racing, and pole bending, our lessons are designed to build confidence, improve communication, and help you reach your goals. ESA accepted.

Whether you’re traveling through Arizona, attending an event, or just need a comfortable place to stay, Makin Time Ranch offers safe, clean overnight accommodations for you and your horse.If you’d like to spend the day exploring Northern Arizona, we also offer optional horse care services so you can enjoy your adventure with peace of mind.

Self-Care Welcome

Take care of your horse on your own schedule using our wash bays and facility amenities.

Optional Horse Care

Planning a trip to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Prescott, or another destination? We can feed, water, and check on your horse while you're away, so you don't have to rush back. $10/horse/feeding/your feed

Our owners live on the property, providing added peace of mind throughout your stay.

Dry Camping
